No warranty attached to this update, it's literally just something I did in minutes to keep this community intact. Working on a full replacement, but in the interim to keep everyone jamming with their setups I've linked a quick update that worked fine locally with the updated patch (tested on a couple of GRifts). I did my best not to include anything that would goof up your individual setups, but save a backup copy of your folder just in case. Just trying to give a little community help while we wait either for an official update or for me to finally finish what I'm working on.

Please post a changelog? Also, post the update to Github. This will allow others to support without having million different .exe's.

so the fun begins! i was able to get this working by changing the version in window_main.cs, "SupportedVersion" variable. whether this is just enough or more, I will find out when the official check in goes live. I think after seeing a few checkins from r3peat to bugs people like me will be more confident on our change and potentially can submit patches. Since we have no change log its hard to model fixes based on past history which is a very common way new engineers come onto a new code base. I assume nooneimportant did the same thing but since I don't know who he is I am going to stick with my modifications.

I didn't do the type of work I'd expect to become a permanent part of the change. In fact, there was a small issue with System.Environment.NewLine that kept it from reading the skills/powers etc. from the files for me until I manually edited it. Thus the "no warranty", as the change to get it to work for me could potentially cause it to not work for others (unlikely, but possible enough), not something I have the time to test right now. Otherwise, I edited version checks in both the D3Helper source and D3 Enigma source to check for the most up to date patch version. No shift in attribute IDs or Power IDs were needed.

If we don't see something official any time soon or a widely accepted check in + release, I'll do something that I can actually upload to Git.

For those saying it's not working, be sure you get the .dll's as well.

Anyway, good luck, will check in on this tomorrow.

That's basically the issue with it parsing out that text file described before. If I had to guess, when you first open it, you're getting a blank window instead of seeing the skills listed / skill icons. For me, without the change I made, I had the same issue was it was unable to parse out the skill powers. Sounds like the reverse is true for you. May be able to make a small change to have it do an either/or to make it work for us both. Will check.

Ok, it now tests to see if it failed to parse the file and uses the alternate method (the original provided that did not work for me). I really can't warranty or provide support for this at the moment, as the replacement uses a completely different method of getting skill lists etc., so it's not like there is any shared functionality I have to overcome.

Tested on two rifts with two different classes, no issues.

You can use the contents of the old zip file, then overwrite the exe with this one. Heading to bed, but I'm hoping this resolved things for you and anyone else that had issues with the update. Also hope you guys get an official update to tide things over, but completely understand R3peat's circumstances.
